Evoked Potentials (EP)
An Evoked Potential (EP) is the response of the brain following a presentation of a stimulus. The amplitude of the evoked potential tends to be low, and in order to get a reliable response, multiple repetitions of the same stimulation need to be conducted, and subsequent time-locked responses need to be averaged. Typical examples of evoked potentials are VEP, SEP, AEP etc.
